JULY’S – NEW OVERSEAS STUDENT
Painttechnics are pleased to welcome Ian Coppley to the painttechnics business model. Ian a “time served” Commercial manager for a well known car and van dealership, has decided to take the painttechnics model to sunnier climates.Ian is to take the process of SMART repairs to Cyprus and hope to capitalize on the lack of SMART repairs to holiday rental fleets.
JUNE’S – NEW FRANCHISEE
Painttechnics limited welcomes Nicholas Knox to painttechnics.Having spent the last ” few years ” in the motor industry Nicholas has decided to join painttechnics and secured a large area in order to promote his new venture.
Concentrating on mainly retail work Nicholas is looking forward to his new career, working from his brand new fully equipped mobile workshop.

APRIL – PAINTTECHNICS MOVES ONTO PROSPRAY H2O
After testing various 3rd generation water based paint systems, painttechnics have confirmed their move onto the Prospray H2o range of water based tinters. The kit contains around 70 coloured tinters to increase colour matching, whilst cutting costs by approx 10% compared to other water based systems.
PAINT CORRECTION AND DETAILING INTRODUCTION COURSES NOW AVAILABLE
After further testing and better supplying products ,painttechnics are now pleased to offer this new half day course in paint correction and detailing.Although not to be confused with “detailing “courses which take the operator days to complete 1 car,this new revenue stream has been brought out to increase the profit per car as customers look to “tidy ” their cars up prior to sale or to keep until the economis conditions improve.Please see our training pages for details.
NEW BUILDING

Painttechnics are now operating from a new larger 2500 sq ft workshop.The new facility now houses all of our operations and training facility under one roof.
We are now able to teach Smart paint,Alloy wheel repairs,Windscreen repairs and all Valeting at the same time due to dedicated teaching areas.
In the new unit we have purposely built a new windscreen training and demonstration room and a large stores to allow us to keep pace with our growing online business.
VALETING

After successful product testing painttechnics are now pleased to offer a full range of valeting services to the general public.Using our usual formula of value for money we are able to offer the customer the added bonus of a full or express wash to help maintain the quality of their vehicle.
Currently using the well known Autoglym premium branded products we are able to offer at competative rates this new additional service.Why not ask your local operator for details.
PAINT CORRECTION

Following recent requests by owners now looking to keep their current cars instead of changing for newer models, painttechnics has now invested in paint/colour correction.
Using a variety of newly imported materials painttechnics can now restore faaded and oxidised paintwork on your vehicle without the need for costly resprays within around 3 hours.
This new syatem allows owners to regenerate the look of their cars in this current financial market for a fraction of the price of conventional paintwork. Please contact your local operator for full details.

PAINT TECHNICS NOW FULLY WATERBASED

To complement our existing technology advances Painttechnics are now pleased to announce after further testing the introduction of a fully useable waterbased primer.
This now means that we use water based refinishing techniques for all stages of painting from primers, base coats and clear coats making all our repairs even more enviromentally safer than before.
LECHLER HYDROFAN WATERBASED LACQUER NOW IN OPERATION

After extensive testing Painttechnics are now pleased to be one of the first SMART repairers in the UK to implement the new Lechler Waterbased lacquer.
This new amazing product is in fact part water and is fully dry within 8-10 minutes therefore allowing the smart repairer to perform repairs quicker than with the previous generation of non-isocyanate lacquers.
Using brand new technology this lacquer is well below the current EEC guidlines for VOC limits making it even safer to the enviroment than current solvent based lacquers.
